Prop's Boat Shop
Overview
Prop's Boat Shop, located in Seattle, Washington, engaged my services to develop a unique and cohesive brand identity. This project included the creation of an original logo, color palette, typography, business materials, and a comprehensive brand guide. The brand was designed to capture the nostalgia of traditional boat design and the thrill of open-sea adventures.
The logo for Prop's Boat Shop drew inspiration from traditional deck prisms, which were used on ships to refract light down to the lower decks. The color palette, featuring bold shades of blue and maroon, evokes the spirit of the ocean and adventure.
I designed a suite of business materials for Prop's Boat Shop, including business cards, letterhead, and envelopes, all showcasing the brand's distinctive logo and color palette. Additionally, I created a comprehensive brand guide that details the visual identity standards, including guidelines for logo usage, color palette, and typography.
My branding work for Prop's Boat Shop received significant recognition, winning a gold medal and best of show at the 2019 WSPA Print Excellence Awards. The Prop's Boat Shop brand stands as a dynamic, memorable, and effective representation of a passionate and dedicated business, serving the needs of boaters everywhere.
