Kanshoku
Overview
When we travel, we often gravitate to the greatest structures, the most magnificent sights, the most memorable places. Kanshoku seeks to draw attention to the less noticed; the patterns, textures, and feeling of those overlooked details.
Approach
On a 3-week visit to Japan, my goal was to capture images that would evoke the tactile, texture, and subtler aspects of the country's most famous regions.
